It shouldn&#039;t be too difficult to tie in with Gwibber&#039;s infrastructure to also do backups of your social network data.

This could be easily done for Twitter, Identi.ca, Flickr, Email, and even IM (at least backing up your friend/contact list).

Maybe that is the solution I&#039;m looking for....</description>

		<description>I like your &quot;automatic backup wizard&quot; idea, and I&#039;ve said for a couple of years that I&#039;d like to have a first-run wizard which asks me about all of them and sets up desktop apps (Empathy, Evolution, etc.) with the info so I don&#039;t have to manually create fifteen different accounts across many different apps.

I long for the day when XMPP is the social networking standard. (Take a look at OneSocialWeb.org ).</description>
