When will things like this, said by the ever awesome Carl Malamud, not be heresy?

Just imagine a small town news reporter saying that on the 5 o’clock news. Or god forbid, someone on the national news.
When that is no longer heresy, I’ll be a tiny bit happier.
That’s heresy? News to me.

The idea that someone getting paid a “fair market price” (which translates to: whatever they could negotiate) is *too much* is heresy in a pure capitalist/homo economicus society.
Yes, I’m reducing the conversation to a pure capitalist one, but that seems to be the way things are going nowadays (see: libertarian arguments).
